My G15 keyboard probably isn’t dishwasher-safe because of the LCD screen so I opted to pop off the keys, put them in a mesh bag and send them through the dishwasher.  This worked quite well as all my keys are now shiny and clean again.  I wondered how my keys got so dirty, not just scummy but dirty having a literal coating of dirt on the 1-5 keys and the Q key.  The answer became apparent when I had to put down the barbeque sauce-coated ribs to do the first draft of this post.  Maybe it’s time to get some Wet-naps.

I’d like to propose an event.  AnnaMarie Pepper, the Bucks County Council advancement and registration person and perennial ray of sunshine in the Ockanickon office has a relative very much in need of blood (I believe he’s AB+ and will take anything you throw at him) and there’ll be a blood drive at Richboro Elementary School on February 11th, from 3 PM to 8 PM. One can register at www.pleasegiveblood.org using the sponsor code of 5025.

I was hoping to have a gathering on the 12th to celebrate the 200th birthday of Charles Darwin and Abraham Lincoln and the 150th anniversary of the publishing of On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life. I invite anyone would like to join me in donating blood and replenishing vital nutrients like pork and barbeque sauce by having quality ribs at the Churchville Inn afterward.

The camporee was horrible, I’ll just say that and move on…

Anyway, the Robinsons don’t have a home phone and haven’t for many years.  We use Vonage in house and when we miss a call I receive a mp3 in my email to hear.  Today I found out what problems this could cause.  We’d been called by Qunnipiac University for an opinion poll and I missed it.  I love political polls, for a brief instant, I’m a number instead of a person, but I’m an influential number.  For a shining moment, net neutrality would register as a blip on the national radar and someone would say “NO” to “are you concerned about American jobs going overseas”.  I missed that.  I cried at first, and then I had ribs and then I cried again.  I find good ribs moving.
